Content creators, animators, artists, advertising creatives, producers, brand marketing teams — Hinge invites you into our studio for a special Design Week Portland Open House. Come meet the team and get a behind the scenes view of how we bring unique stories to life through characters, live action, animation, and post-production visual effects. If you can dream it, we can do it!
We are co-hosting with our neighbors 3DV, serving beer, wine, and amazing food, and showcasing a lot of fun creative and tech, including our fully immersive VR experiences & AR apps. 3DV will also be demoing 3D printers and Wacom Cintiq tablets. In our theatre, we will be screening our latest work in TV content, Interactive, and broadcast commercials, including Cartoon Network’s Toonami & Travel Oregon: The Game.

We design, develop, and test interactive applications and games. Mixed reality enthusiasts, interaction designers, and creative coders, join us for a peek at some of the latest public space interaction tech and connect with web and game developers. We’ll have AR and VR demos, a photo booth, and some multiplayer games involving gesture interaction, touchscreens, AR, and VR. Come see some of the crazy cool work we’ve been cooking up!
Koerner Camera is the premier digital cinema camera rental house in Portland serving the television, commercial and filmmaking production throughout the Pacific Northwest. The Oregon Media Production Association is the trade association that connects, advocates for and advances media production professionals across the state. They are collectively opening their space to showcase the work that is being created by OMPA’s members, to introduce the place where top productions rent their gear, to show off a space that was renovated last year by FIELDWORK DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE, LLC and open a show of the work of local photographer, Eric Macey. Come on by. You’ll have a good time with this diverse, talented, good natured crowd.
